If you decide to proceed with a hair transplant, we’ll agree on a convenient date and schedule your procedure in your preferred KSL Clinic (Kent or Manchester).

On the day, we’ll apply a high-quality anaesthetic, and once this has taken effect, we’ll begin extracting individual follicles, one at a time, using a specialist Micro Punch that creates a tiny incision around one mm across. Those follicles are graded and assessed for density, colour, and growth pattern for a seamless result.

Your healthy follicles are reimplanted into the target area carefully and gently, ensuring every hair fits into our preplanned transplant mapping, customised to your wishes and requirements.

After your treatment, we recommend taking a week to recover and rest, giving your newly implanted follicles the best opportunity to recover. During the first two weeks, it is important to avoid swimming, alcohol, direct sun exposure, strenuous exercise, and wearing headwear—these are all key to swift, complete recuperation and optimal hair regrowth.

After a week, you can begin gently washing your hair transplant area, following our aftercare guidance. Within two weeks, you can resume your normal activities. You can expect a little initial shedding, which is completely normal, and regrowth begins in three to four months.

One-year post-transplant, we will arrange a follow-up consultation to ensure your results surpass your expectations. You can ask questions or book supplementary therapies where these have not already been performed as part of your recovery plan.
