What does a typical work day involve for you?
As Director of The KSL Clinic Ltd, my focus is to grow the KSL Clinic Ltd brand across the UK, whilst ensuring the high standards we’ve achieved through our CQC are rolled out consistency across on clinics and consulting locations.
No one day at KSL Clinic Ltd is ever the same, I can be providing free consultations to potential new clients, looking after patients in surgery or providing any part of or extensive aftercare programme for someone who has already undergone surgery. One thing is for sure, every day is a busy rewarding day.
What does a typical work day involve for you?
As Director of Surgical Services my main role is ensuring that my patients get the highest quality of care during and after their procedures. Whilst, most of my time is spent actually performing my FUE treatment, a lot is also spent answering questions and checking up on my patients that are in their aftercare stage.
A lot of people also come to me for consultations. These take time; I always want my patients to be completely informed and aware of the entire process, alternatives, and what to expect from my treatment. While this may be a business, the patient comes first. Always.
Dr. Kostas is a Consultant Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with a special interest in cosmetic facial plastic surgery and hair restoration surgery. He graduated from the Aristotle University (Greece) with a 4-year scholarship. Soon after, he joined the Hellenic Armed Special Forces as a medic. He earned his Master’s degree in Reconstructive Microsurgery with a distinction from Queen Mary University of London. He conducted a research fellowship in Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research in New York, which led to his scientific papers on androgenetic alopecia, entitled “Autologous Platelet-Rich Plasma Treatment” and “Autologous Stem Cell-derived Therapies”. He has produced over 30 peer-reviewed publications in reputable Journals. He is an active member of various professional organisations (American Society of Plastic Surgeons, International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, FUE – Europe).
Dr. Kostas has extensive clinical experience within several international NHS hospitals and private clinics, including the prestigious Harley Street.
His focus on hair transplantation includes male- and female-pattern baldness, beard, eyebrow, and eyelashes restoration with the FUE technique. His reconstructive background and surgical mastery allow him to perform more complex procedures, such as FUT and burn scar revision with hair transplantation, as well as transgender hair restoration (male-to-female, and vice versa). His attention to detail and commitment to excellent patient outcomes help him deliver bespoke treatments to his clients.
In his free time, he enjoys walks in nature, meditation, exercise at the gym, spending time with his family, and exploring the Greek islands.

What does a typical work day involve for you?
As Manager of KSL Clinic in Manchester, my main role is to ensure efficient and safe running of the clinic so that all patients receive the best care in their hair restoration journey. Years of experience in healthcare and previous experience as a hair transplant technician has helped with delivering high standards of patient care.
On a typical day I will be on hand to help patients whether its to book in for their initial consultation or advise on their aftercare. One of my favourite aspects of the job is seeing how patients progress when they come back to the clinic for their aftercare and reviews, its great to see how hair restoration can positively impact someone.

What does a typical work day involve for you?
A typical workday for me would be, greeting the patients as they come in for procedure and guiding them through the process of the day. Go over any questions they might have and making them feel at ease prior to surgery. I will also follow up with post-surgery with any aftercare questions and information they might have.
My favourite part is seeing the patient coming back with their new hair, as you can always see they are more confident with the results!

What does a typical work day involve for you?
My main role is to ensure the efficiency and safe-running of surgeries and post-procedure care. A priority of mine is ensuring patients have a quality experience and care during their hair restoration journey.
I will assist with any queries patients may have prior to their surgery date, as well as greeting and meeting with patients on the morning of their procedure. Aftercare involves routine calls and post-operative care questions they may have.
