What does a typical work day involve for you?

As Director of The KSL Clinic Ltd, my focus is to grow the KSL Clinic Ltd brand across the UK, whilst ensuring the high standards we’ve achieved through our CQC are rolled out consistency across on clinics and consulting locations.

No one day at KSL Clinic Ltd is ever the same, I can be providing free consultations to potential new clients, looking after patients in surgery or providing any part of or extensive aftercare programme for someone who has already undergone surgery. One thing is for sure, every day is a busy rewarding day.

What does a typical work day involve for you?

As Director of Surgical Services my main role is ensuring that my patients get the highest quality of care during and after their procedures. Whilst, most of my time is spent actually performing my FUE treatment, a lot is also spent answering questions and checking up on my patients that are in their aftercare stage.

A lot of people also come to me for consultations. These take time; I always want my patients to be completely informed and aware of the entire process, alternatives, and what to expect from my treatment. While this may be a business, the patient comes first. Always.

Following completion of my training under a leading UK and European hair transplant surgeon, I have collaborated with several esteemed hair transplant clinics in Italy and the UK.  I am currently employed at KSL Clinic. My expertise encompasses the medical and surgical treatment of various types of hair loss in both men and women. I am recognised for my dedication to advancing the art of hair restoration and achieving excellent, natural-looking hairline reconstruction.

My specialisation further extends to Afro-Caribbean hair transplants, a complex procedure undertaken by only a select few surgeons in the UK.

My practice is characterised by professionalism, courtesy, and a holistic approach prioritising exceptional patient care.  I have successfully restored confidence and self-esteem for hundreds of patients across the UK and Europe.

With over 20 years of experience as a medical doctor, including 14 years within the NHS across various specialties, I bring a wealth of knowledge and skill to my practice. My refined hand-eye coordination, consistently praised by colleagues and superiors, is paramount to the precision required in hair transplantation and aesthetic treatments.

Beyond my clinical work, I am actively involved in charitable initiatives aimed at improving medical services in developing countries and supporting vulnerable children and orphans.

What does a typical work day involve for you?

In my position, my primary responsibility is to maintain the health and safety of the KSL Clinic, ensuring compliance with CQC Regulations. A significant part of my job is dedicated to patient satisfaction, which involves regularly reviewing patient feedback. I conduct audits to ensure the clinic upholds necessary standards and maintains a fit-to-work status.

Additionally, I perform PRP procedures for both post-surgical patients and those who have not undergone surgery.

My professional background is rooted in community nursing, where I served as a District Nurse and then as Wound Care Lead for over seven years (experience also in palliative care and long-term conditions). Prior to my current position, I was the Lead Nurse for a reputable cosmetic company, where I honed my skills in injectables. This diverse experience paved the way for my current role at KSL Clinic, which I find incredibly rewarding.

What does a typical work day involve for you?

My main role is to ensure the efficiency and safe-running of surgeries and post-procedure care. A priority of mine is ensuring patients have a quality experience and care during their hair restoration journey.

I will assist with any queries patients may have prior to their surgery date, as well as greeting and meeting with patients on the morning of their procedure. Aftercare involves routine calls and post-operative care questions they may have.

What does a typical work day involve for you?

A typical workday for me would be, greeting the patients as they come in for procedure and guiding them through the process of the day. Go over any questions they might have and making them feel at ease prior to surgery. I will also follow up with post-surgery with any aftercare questions and information they might have.

My favourite part is seeing the patient coming back with their new hair, as you can always see they are more confident with the results!
