Eyebrow Transplant Before and After Results

We often recommend that new clients review our eyebrow transplant before-and-after galleries and celebrity stories because these give them a great idea of what to expect. Real-world videos and images provide a case study and enable you to see the outcomes we’ve achieved for other clients with similar eyebrow hair loss concerns.

The procedure itself involves the careful selection of individual donor hairs, often from the back of the scalp. These follicles are gently implanted in the desired shape, arch and thickness you’d like, taking just one visit as a minimally invasive process that is completed on a walk-in/walk-out basis.

Exploring the Results of Eyebrow Transplantation

Eyebrow transplants provide a way to permanently correct thinning brows, uneven growth, or sparse eyebrows, often owing to past medical conditions, side effects from medications, or excessive hair removal.

  • KSL Clinic offers eyebrow transplants throughout our network of practices, using the advanced Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) method, which provides a sophisticated way to replenish your brows with a minimal recovery period.
  • Looking at examples is always advisable, and we’d encourage anybody considering an eyebrow transplant to verify the outcomes their surgeon has achieved in the past. This will ensure they are satisfied that their clinic has the requisite skill and experience and put their mind at ease.
  • Eyebrow transplants aren’t solely used to correct overplucking but can be a great way to restore facial symmetry, replenish hair loss, and recreate youthful, thick brows where these have been lost due to injuries, skin complaints or other issues.

Eyebrow Transplant Before and After: Bianca Gascoigne

Bianca, a model and TV personality, came to KSL Clinic for an eyebrow transplant. She stated that she had overplucked her eyebrows in her younger years and that they had not grown back since then.

Her experience was similar to that of numerous other clients, who felt self-conscious and resorted to filling in eyebrows using cosmetic products on a daily basis to replicate the appearance of full brows, albeit a time-consuming and, over time, expensive and temporary solution.

She decided to book an FUE eyebrow transplant to achieve a permanent result and avoid worrying about her brows in the future, with a fantastic outcome tailored to the shape, texture and arch she wanted her perfect eyebrows to have.

Reviewing her before-and-after images and video journey is an excellent way to visualise the outcomes of an eyebrow transplant and see how seamless and natural the results look.

What Happens During an Eyebrow Transplant?

We touched on the procedure above, but the basic idea is that FUE transplantation avoids general anaesthetic, stitches, large incisions, or scarring and is, therefore, an optimal approach to a delicate and bespoke eyebrow process.

This safe, pain-free and minimally invasive technique ensures that each follicle is specifically selected for texture, colour, growth direction and thickness and slots into other eyebrow hair growth or creates a natural pattern.

After an initial week of recovery, following our aftercare guidance to protect the newly transplanted follicles, those hairs will begin to steadily grow. From there on, your eyebrows will be permanently restored, with the final results visible within months.

What Types of Eyebrow Hair Loss Can We Address With a Transplant?

There are countless potential reasons you may be dissatisfied with your brows, and a hair transplant may be the most suitable solution if:

  • You need to correct overplucked brows or areas where previous hair removal has prevented the original follicles from producing new hair.
  • There is scarring over your eyebrow tissue, preventing new follicles from growing.
  • You have uneven or thin natural eyebrows due to medical reasons and would like these to be thicker or more defined.

Since FUE transplantation is entirely bespoke, the shape and appearance of your transplanted brows are fully under your control. You might wish to replenish a small number of follicles in a specific area subject to scarring, want longer brows that reach your outer eye, or require thicker brows that don’t need to be trimmed, groomed, or shaped.

Understanding the Average Costs of an Eyebrow Transplant

Of course, costs are an important factor, although we commonly find that clients discover that the one-off investment in permanently restored brows is significantly lower than other repeat treatments such as threading, brow lamination, and beauty products.

It is impossible to give an accurate cost indication given that the number of grafts and extent of each eyebrow transplant are personalised, but most procedures cost from approximately £3,000.

That can vary between, for example, one client with thin brows who requires a few grafts to replenish their eyebrows and create a thicker arch and another with complete brow loss who would like to recreate a natural, symmetrical eyebrow on each side.

What Does the Recovery and Aftercare Look Like After an Eyebrow Transplant Procedure?

Planning ahead for your post-transplant recovery is beneficial. Although we always discuss this in detail with every prospective client, it is worth scheduling your procedure for a date when you can focus on rest and relaxation for a few days afterwards.

During this period, we recommend every eyebrow transplant client:

  • Avoid touching, rubbing or scratching their eyebrows.
  • Use a gentle, clinical and non-abrasive solution to keep the area hydrated.
  • Wash their face and eyebrows gently from day four, using patting rather than rubbing when drying the eyebrow region.
  • Apply ice or use anti-inflammatories and over-the-counter painkillers if required immediately after their eyebrow transplant.
  • Try sleeping on their backs with an extra pillow to elevate their heads—this helps to avoid swelling and speeds up the recovery process.

Given the minimally invasive nature of an FUE transplant and the small transplant area, we normally advise clients to rest for between five and seven days, refraining from exercise, swimming, direct sunlight, and harsh cosmetics while the tissue and follicles heal.

After two to three weeks, the transplanted hair sheds, a natural and normal part of the way our follicles enter a new growth phase. This is followed by regrowth over the coming months, when your customised brows will be fully restored.
