“AGREEING to have a hair transplant was one of the most out-of-character decisions I have ever made – but it was also one of the best. At the age of 40 I was in denial about the fact I was losing my hair. I had even grown the hair on top of my head in a subconscious bid to keep kidding myself. But my wife finally persuaded me to talk to the team at KSL Hair in 2016 and within a few weeks I was in surgery having hair from the back of my head moved to my thinning crown. Yes, it was a few hours in surgery, but all I had to do was sit there watching television and staying still. By the time I left that day it was all over, one day in my life, no repeats, no follow ups all done and dusted. Most of my friends just thought I’d gone for a grade one hair cut, and as it began to grow back I could see just how much my hair had been receding. “From the first meeting through to the operation, everyone was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The Instagram page was useful in seeing other individuals who has undergone the procedure and their success, and for asking questions in my post 2-weeks operation phase. The operation itself was relatively painless and everything was explained to me by Dr Matee and the other two technicians who performed the operation – they even provided me a lunch of my choice. This was backed up by the information sheet and medical pack that was given to me on the day of the procedure and as extremely informative in the period after the operation.
