X factor and Celebrity big brother star Christopher Maloney looks to have finally found peace with his hair.
The entertainer has had numerous procedures in the past, both in the UK, but mostly abroad in Poland, however he talks highly throughout the day of KSL clinic in Manchester, where he had his 6th procedure at the weekend. He chose KSL Hair Transplant in Manchester as he wanted his correction to be done by hair surgeon Dr Matee, who is much sought after by celebrities and sportsmen alike.
“I’ve chosen KSL clinic and Dr Matee for today’s procedure as I’ve heard so much about them, I’ve had friends that have had procedures and also other celebrities, and the outcome has been amazing”
Christopher makes references of the difference in service, and quality based on previous experiences, and is obviously keen to highlight the issues with travelling abroad for cosmetic surgery, as he has filmed television programmes in the past on botched surgery, one of which still to air.
“It’s the hairline I’ve always wanted. Dr Matee was so easy to talk to and understood exactly what I wanted and made me aware that the fact I had many previous procedures, extra care needed to be taken”. He says throughout the procedure, looking relaxed, suggesting KSL and Dr Matee have listened to his wants and desires whilst being realistic about what can be achieved. He adds, “its the first time a surgeon and team has properly listened to what I want and need”
Dr Matee states that “it is unusual for a patient to undergo so many hair transplants. Poor outcomes can be due to many reasons and it is the job of the surgeon to ensure those risks are minimised. With Christopher we had to work with a limited donor area and a recipient area that had been extensively scarred. Despite the difficulty we expect him to achieve good results”.
Of course having been through so many botched procedures in the past, Christopher was keen to do his research for this one, for what he hopes to be his final time. He mentions “previous clients of Dr Matee and KSL Manchester hair loss clinic have had corrective surgery such as Joe Swash”, and most recently Sheffield Wednesday and Scotland international striker Steven Fletcher.
“Having been through so many surgeries and botched hair transplants, it’s taken a lot for me to come to KSL clinic today”, clearly with mixed emotions, although mostly excitement.
