With the growing trend of hair transplants in the public eye, we see more and more reality stars, tv personalities, or, as the season comes to an end and a well deserved summer break is on the horizon, professional football players.
Such is the case again this summer at KSL clinics in Manchester and Maidstone, Kent, with previous patients including Welsh international Joe Ledley, QPR’s Grant Hall and ex England goalkeeper Paul Robinson to name a few.

A Sheffield Wednesday duo this week were first through the doors as the championship season came to an end last weekend, Scotland international striker Steven Fletcher chose KSL clinic for his third hair transplant procedure. The star who had two procedures elsewhere in the past was looking forward to more ‘thickness in the barnet’ as he puts it, and was full of praise of his experience with surgical director Dr Matee at the KSL hair loss clinic Manchester branch.

He was joined by teammate and fellow Scotland international Barry Bannan, who has been suffering with hair loss for a number of years, and felt it was now time to take action. Admittedly nervous on the morning of the procedure he was also looking forward to improving his locks and to see the forthcoming results.

Barry was recommended  KSL clinic by Joe Ledley who has had fantastic results previously, and another Scotland team mate Johnny Russell, who have both visited KSL in Kent and Manchester respectively with Dr Matee.

A FUE hair transplant (Follicular Unit Extraction) is a minimally invasive hair loss treatment / procedure that harvests hair from anywhere on your body by removing each root individually and transplanting it into your scalp. FUE transplants are carried out follicle by follicle and in the direction of the hair growth in order to provide a naturally looking hairline. The follicles are chosen according to their density, and inserted into the hairless parts of your scalp.
